Stepping into Ameland Hotel, we were greeted by a serene haven that felt like a warm embrace. Ideal for families, the hotel's location between the charming village and the inviting beach offered the perfect base for cycling routes and hikes. As a family who loves outdoor adventures, we indulged in exploring the area, popular for horse riding and cycling, creating cherished memories along the way.The lavish garden with a playground was a delightful surprise for our children, aged 12 and 14, who gleefully spent hours playing, allowing us to unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings. The serene atmosphere ensured a peaceful retreat, perfect for those quiet moments and a sound night's sleep after a day of exploration.Our stay was further elevated by the attentive staff, ensuring our comfort and providing a scrumptious breakfast that catered to all, including gluten-free options. The rooms, though a bit old-fashioned, were clean and cozy, with comfortable beds for a restful stay.Thank you, Ameland Hotel, for a lovely family-friendly experience that we would gladly revisit.
